01 / DIAGNOSIS

Faults we assess

Symptoms can share several causes. We confirm the fault on the actual card before recommending component work.

No display or no power

Shorted power rails, damaged VRM stages, firmware faults, connector damage and failed components are considered after safe bench checks.

Artifacts and instability

Visual corruption, driver crashes and load failures may involve VRAM, the GPU, power delivery, firmware, cooling or the host system.

Heat and physical damage

Fan, thermal-interface, corrosion, trace and HDMI or DisplayPort damage can be assessed when parts and test access are available.

02 / SCOPE

Board-level scope

We consider supported NVIDIA GeForce, AMD Radeon, Intel Arc and workstation cards from board partners. Support depends on the exact model, condition, donor or new-part availability and safe test access.

  • Electrical diagnosis and power-rail fault isolation
  • Microsoldering, connector and PCB trace work
  • VRM, memory and passive-component replacement when diagnosis supports it
  • BGA rework only when the evidence and economics support it
  • Cleaning, thermal service and functional stress testing as the card allows

03 / INTAKE

How an accepted repair works

  1. 1

    Tell us the exact card

Send the manufacturer, model, symptoms and all prior repair or mining history.

  2. 2

    Wait for a reply

We confirm whether we can assess the card and provide next-step instructions.

  3. 3

    Review the scope

We explain the proposed work before proceeding.

  4. 4

    Test and return

We perform the agreed work and test as the fault and hardware allow.

04 / VERIFY

Used graphics card completeness check

The $50 CAD plus tax fee is for one non-invasive completeness and listing-consistency check on a supported desktop card. We compare the received item with the listing and an expected complete card: visible identifiers, board and cooler assembly, reported model and memory, and basic recognition or display when safe. This is not a repair diagnostic. It can flag substitution, missing assemblies or other signs of material misrepresentation; it cannot determine seller intent, ownership or make a legal finding of fraud.

  • The exact listed manufacturer and model are confirmed before intake
  • Written result: consistent, concerns found or inconclusive
  • Shipping, teardown, repair, parts, performance grading and fault diagnosis are extra
  • The completeness-check fee is non-refundable once checking begins
